General Soccer Information:

Start of Season:
First Day: May 5th, 2020
Last Day: June 23rd, 2020

Soccer Night Tuesdays


5:30pm-6:30pm: Preschool-Grade 1
7:00pm-8:00pm: Grade 2-Grade 4
First half hour = practice- Second half hour = game against another Mitchell team
Please look for your teams colour on the nets; your teams colour will be indicated on the nets at the field!

 COACHES NEEDED: Please consider coaching, as this program can only continue with volunteer coaches. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication our coaches bring to the program. There is a cost saving incentive that all parents who coach will receive a discount of 10$ off each of their child’s registration fee, i.e. if you have five children registered for soccer you receive 10$ off each child.


Fields:


The soccer field is adjacent to Stahn Field, the driveway North of the ballfield entrance. There will be updates on the website (as soccer season draws closer) and at the soccer shed by the parking at the soccer fields (on soccer nights).


Tim Bits soccer will provide jerseys for the players, sizing is not guaranteed.
  • Coaches will contact you, via email, regarding: Team your child will be playing for and general details of soccer. Please contact your coach with any questions.
  • We are a fun based program and run as a House League. We teach basic soccer skills; but focus on team work, getting physically active, and having fun!
  • Questions on Soccer Nights can be posed to Christine Fenton; who will be by the shed or on the soccer fields. She will have a reflective vest on during soccer in case of emergency or if parents/players have a questions.

Final BBQ:


We will not be having a final BBQ this season; instead we will be having a normal soccer night. Players will get a package at the end of soccer with a ball, medal, team picture, drink and bag of chips. These will be handed out by coaches at the end of season.

Soccer 2020 Season

I regret to inform you that the 2020 Mitchell Soccer Season will be cancelled Due to school closing for the remainder of the year I will be cancelling the 2020 soccer season. I will be sending refunds out via the mail, if you have already registered. I am sorry about this but want to keep all children safe and healthy. Have a great summer, stay safe and healthy.
